My Philosophy of Education
All students have the ability to succeed, given the proper
support. To succeed, students must set and achieve goals.
Within any
classroom, several different learning styles exist.
The teacher must be
prepared to present lessons through
several modalities. Interdisciplinary
lessons will assist in the
understanding of concepts and will help provide real
world
purposes for the lessons being taught. Though the lessons
should be
varied, the class should be structured. The
learning environment should
feel warm and welcoming, yet
consistent with well-established routines and
procedures.
Through these methods, I am able to create a successful
learning environment for students.
